This week's Tales from the jar side will be early
Because time zones happen when you fly halfway around the world
As I mentioned in this Note, this week’s newsletter will be a day early (meaning today, Saturday, Apr 22) rather than it’s usual day (tomorrow, Sunday, Apr 23):
The rest of this post is a copy of the propaganda template Substack offers to introduce people to Notes. I thought I’d include it because it might be useful for some people.
Notes is the space on Substack to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Tales from the jar side, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Tales from the jar side can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
I mildly edited that template, mostly to tone it down a bit (if you can believe that). Still, it has the relevant links in it, and that might be useful to keep around.
Assuming I recover adequately, on Monday I’ll post the video version of the newsletter on the Tftjs YouTube channel on Monday, as usual.
Look for this week’s issue later today. I guess that means I should start writing it. :)

Cripes. That should be "its", not "it's". Sorry about that.
